Xbox Support supports claims of a new Oblivion remaster
After new images were revealed in the backend of the Virtuos website, all but confirming the game’s existence, one Twitter user has come forward to claim that Xbox Support has confirmed a release date for the incoming Oblivion remake. Taking to the site to share screenshots of a conversation with the Xbox Support account, user @Ser_Raven18 has revealed that the account privately revealed to them that “’The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered’ will be available for cloud gaming. It is set to be released on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox one. Additionally, it will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass.” The account then goes on to reveal the reported Oblivion Remastered release date of Monday, April 21, and will drop on Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
This report of an Oblivion Remastered release date is an incredible claim that many players are still drawing into question, with the capitalisation of “Xbox one” throwing some fans off of believing that this is from an official Xbox channel, but a follow-up tweet featuring a screen recording of a scroll through the chat has verified the news for many.
